Overview
Velar Design is a premium skincare line focused on sustainability and sophistication. The brand needed packaging that communicated elegance, clarity, and eco-consciousness. We were tasked to craft a packaging system that elevated the product while aligning with the brand’s refined identity.
Challenge
The challenge was balancing visual luxury with minimal environmental impact. Materials, finishes, and layout all needed to reflect a high-end feel without excess. We also needed to ensure flexibility for future product expansions across the skincare line.
Outcome
We delivered a modular packaging system using recyclable materials and minimal inks. Each product uses a unified structure with elegant type, debossed logos, and understated colors — all designed to enhance shelf presence and user experience while remaining true to sustainable values.
Structure & Material
We sourced FSC-certified paper stocks, minimized adhesive use, and designed collapsible units to reduce shipping volume. The result: packaging that feels intentional and premium, without being wasteful.
Visual System
The visual design focuses on serenity and clarity. A soft monochrome palette paired with refined serif type evokes calm and trust. Brand cues are subtly reinforced through consistent label placement, matte finishes, and thoughtful texture contrast.
